The band +K+M+B uses various cultural codes and symbols during their performances, and you might notice references of different cultures, religions, folklores, myths, occultism and mysticism. But none of these references should be taken out of the performance’s context: the mix of symbols and codes are there to reveal that all of them have existed and still exist alongside each other and their meanings have changed through the times. Symbols and cultural codes are social constructs that should not be taken for granted and the band members invite you to deconstruct the meanings while observing the performances. +K+M+B is creating a new context which emphasizes the absurd that always comes with our profound need for the irrational. The need for irrational is necessary to provide us with belief system, but it is also a source of our fears. +K+M+B performances encourage you to drop your fears and enjoy the soundscapes made by Caspar, Melchior and Balthazar.
